Cala Gavetta, La Maddalena

La Maddalena is a very nice old European town ... lots of restaurants and things to do. We got off the boat right away and explored the town ... I love walking streets and the sustainability of it all -- we need to do this in Vancouver. Anyway, we did some marketing, had Gelato, went back to the boat and got ready for dinner.

Matt and Chelsea trying Sardinian beer...
"not bad" they said.
Hayden, Ross' buddy along for the first month was on dinner duty with Marina -- and he decided to use up some of his "mad money" to treat us for dinner. We walked around looking for an appropriate restaurant (limited seafood plus Pizza) and sat down on a very busy walking street, had a leisurely dinner (delicious!) followed by Matt and Marina enjoying the last of the wine while the rest of the gang went walking (laps around the piazza with 10,000 other people) until almost midnight, and then back to the boat and to bed. Life is great.
